I really enjoy the slowness and deliberation of landscape photography: waiting for the correct lighting, the perfect moment. Increasingly, I'm choosing to use large format cameras (4"x5" and 8"x10" formats), which adds even more time and trouble. But I see these aspects of photography as advantages: they all add to the meditative aspect of the work.
